All Apologies - Nebulizer Potion Improvements on the Way!

Ill at my own home, I've been working out in coffee shops lately, carving up time to get many things done. In my horror, The Nebulizer Potion and the Electric Compass is riddled with typos. I am hurrying to improve the text and get it published asap. Learning from this avoidable mistake, I have decided to move the release date of Willow, in hopes to afford to hire a line editor while wishing for the total edit package for the book. I haven't promoted Willow and the phone lines aren't lighting up for my newest, yet; so no disappointment, I am sure it's better to get the book perfected, first. Thanks.

What I Learned from Holiday Cheer

As an Indie publisher or self-published author, you may be asking what my experience at the event was like and if it was a success.  I can't speak for any authors other than myself, but from my humble beginnings - Yes!  My opinion is that it was a success.  And, I found out that being Indie is not like being the dog at the holiday party - honestly, there might even be a few perks.  I will be creating a video this week to answer some questions about the differences between self-published and Indie published and relate what I know, so far.  For a review of what I learned at Holiday Cheer as an exhibitor, watch this video - an Indie Author's First Book Signing Experience.

Holiday Cheer! Countdown Promotions with Kindle and the numerous tweets to holiday book buyers has begun.  Cyber Monday, Black Friday, and the many December holidays deliver a reason to literally poster social media, blog pages, and pinboards to the thickness of a rock venue's nearest telephone pole.  Patience, patience.. I've told myself, this year. I am just thrilled to be 1 of the accepted Oregon authors at Holiday Cheer!

Maybe next week I can plaster links like a caffiene-jacked cyber-elf before Cyber Monday begins. 

Free Promotions End Today - NaNoWriMo Begins!

Ah, must be November and I am already 2 days behind.  I started writing my NaNo novel this morning.  I think I am writing the novel I pre-wrote in July; however, things may change - its still early.
Thanks to every trick-or-treater, Facebooker, Twitter retweeter, and Pinterest pinner who downloaded one, or more, of my vampire trilogy novels this past two weeks.  I haven't checked lately, but last count there seemed to be 45, 82, and 30 downloads of each novel and there is one-half day remaining for the latter book, The Quill Pen Killer.  Requesting reviews from those who enjoyed the free e-books!  I hope you had an awesome Halloween!

Holy Heck it Must be Halloween?!

So, I screwed up!! At midnight, last night, I thought about checking on my newest book promotion: the FREE final book in my cyber-punk, vampire trilogy, but my bed was calling me.  After late morning Starbucks and a scone, I checked my book's Amazon page and OMG!!! No promo!! No FREE book! I had set Book 2 to FREE promo, instead?!! Book 2 had been free in the summer months - so, I had already given out 82 free e-books on that one.  Omigod-ghod-gosh!

Two hours later, I have this promo 'thing' all straightened out, on the deal.  So, if you'd like a FREE TRILOGY - be quick. Today, the Book 2 Free Promo will end (thank fright!), and then, October 28th - 31st, Book 3 will be on free promo (still 4 days, but moved down one number).  Lastly, Book 1 which was scheduled for free promo from Halloween Night to November 3rd remains on as mentioned. All calmed down, there it was like the good book 1 that it is, patiently set upon the Bookshelf, all this time, awaiting its debut as part of a trilogy - not alone like it once was, but a leader of its kind.  So love it, thank it - read it for Bub's sakes - on Halloween Night, Day of the Dead, or anytime the wind brushes limbs against the window panes moving shadows in the corners of your room while you duck under covers, safe, warm, and reading The Quill Pen Killer rather than meeting your vampire out in the night.  Unless its Halloween, and it IS the treat I'm giving at the door.

Note to self: put down the Starbucks and check on my promos at midnight next time.
