Every summer I put together a reading list for my oldest daughter. Some of the classics, of course, but also some of the hidden gems that I have to search for. The Faerie Ring Dance was just such a hidden gem. It jumped out at me while I was browsing and the description seemed so fun and enchanting, I had to give it a try.
I always read the books first, just in case, and I absolutely adored the story of the Ellewyon Faeries and the humans and mystical creatures surrounding their faerie ring. The story was well written and the characters literally jumped off the page they were so well fleshed out. I have a feeling I will be reading this one again myself and I know my daughter will enjoy it this summer.

I love fairy tales and when I knew I was going to spend a whole day taking care of my younger cousin, I got 'The Faerie Ring Dance' to read with him. Kara Skye Smith did an amazing job not only with creating a whole interesting and exciting world full of adventures but also with telling an inspirational story that teaches a good lesson to the young ones. My cousin absolutely loved the book and after we were finished, he immediately asked me when are we going to read it again! It gets an A+ both from me and my cousin :)
